Weld Mold 606 description: A premium cobalt base wear-facing alloy designed to withstand severe impact at elevated temperatures. Hardness and strength is maintained to temperatures of 1200F and higher for short time exposures. Scaling resistance is excellent up to 1900 F. Weld Mold 606 provides excellent resistance in applications involving, metal to metal wear, oxidation, thermal cycling and impact in corrosive environments at high temperatures. 606 will also develop a high polish while in use.
