Weld Mold 672-C description: Weld Mold 672 is a lower carbon and silicon version of our 673. This nickel base chrome-moly alloy is used for joining materials of like chemistries. More crack resistant than our 673. Used as an overlay to resist corrosion on parts subject to oxidizing and reducing atmospheres and liquids at temperatures up to 2,000°F. Also used for the fabrication of similar nickel based alloys and some stainless alloys, including Joining Hastelloy C and C-276 to themselves.
