Oerlikon Fluxocord 35 25 description: FLUXOCORD 35 25 is a micro-alloyed basic tubular cored SAW-wire to be combined with OERLIKON flux OP 122 (eventually OP 121TT). FLUXOCORD 35 25 is particularly suitable for multi-wire 2-run technology with high charpy toughness properties at low temperatures. When welding in 2-run technology, the mechanical properties of the weld are influenced by dilution with the base metal and the cooling rate of the weld. Optimum toughness properties are obtained when using the double Y- joint. For the FMI-process (FLUXOCORD-Micro-Injection-Process) special 2D- and 3D- variants have been developped to be combined with 1 respectively 2 solid wires OE-A105.
