Haynes Multimet description: MULTIMET RTW filler metal is used for the gas tungsten arc and gas metal arc welding of MULTIMET alloy. The deposited weld metal has excellent stregth at temperatures up to 1500F and moderate strength up to 2000F. The weld metal also has excellent oxidation resistance and good ductility. The RTW finish on the spooled wire promotes smooth feeding through welding equipment and reduced tip wear in contact tips.
