Oerlikon Alurod AlMg3 description: ALUROD AlMg3 is a 5754 type aluminum solid TlG welding rod depositing Al-3Mg weld metal. Suitable for use with Ar, or Ar+He mixed shielding gases. ALUROD AlMg3 is used for the welding of Al-3%Mg alloys. The weld metal has higher strength than joints deposited with Si-alloyed Al welding wires. Good corrosion resistance.
