Oerlikon Inertfil 22 12 description: INERTFIL 22 12 is a G 22 12 H type solid MAG welding wire, supplied precision layer wound, depositing a low C-22Cr12Ni weld metal. Suitable for use with Ar+2%O2 or Ar+0.5…5%CO2 mixed shielding gases. INERTFIL 22 12 is an austenitic welding wire electrode for MAG-welding of identical and similar heat resisting steels. Also suited for welding heat resisting and non-scaling chromium steels, provided that the corrosion attack by reducing sulphur-bearing combustion gases is not to be expected. Non-scaling up to 1000C. INERTFIL 22 12 weld deposit is austenitic, containing a 5-10% deltaferrit in the austenitic matrix.
