Oerlikon Flexal 60 description: FLEXAL 60 is a cellulosic coated MMA electrode for welding large-diameter pipe lines in the vertical-down position known as "stove -piping". Used for root and hot passes as well as filling and capping up to X52 grade pipe. Also used for root passes on higher-strength pipe steels, up to X 80. When root pass welding, negative polarity is recommended. Note: Power source must be suitable for cellulosic-coated MMA electrodes. (OCV>70V). Excellent weldability in all position. Shall be used in DC+ or DCcurrent.
