These steel are air hardening, therefore depending on the steel type and material thickness, pre-heating between 200C-400C and stress relieving treatments are required. BASINOX 410 is also used for stainless wear resistant
surfacing on unalloyed or low-alloy steels for the sealing surfaces of water, gas or steam fittings. Easy slag release and well-suited for positional welding.
