Nihonweld NC-70 description: NC-70 is a low hydrogen type electrode which using mild steel core wire. As its fusibility against base plate is very good, it is suitable for repairing of welding cast iron parts such as ingot case.
APPLICATIONS:
For build-up repairing of ingot cases, other cast iron products which machinability is required.
NOTES ON USAGE:
Preheating at 200C and over is appropriate to prevent cracking.
Satisfactory results can be obtained by adopting buttering.
