Nihonweld Railhard description: A basic low hydrogen electrode for surfacing of abrasion due to rolling friction.Applicable to steel with carbon content up to 0.45%. For higher carbon and alloy steels, apply a buffer layer of N-7016 to prevent cracking. Allow lateral weaving, hence broad, flat surfacing free of undercutting and spatter can be obtained. Its high deposition rate provide lower welding costs.
