Nihonweld NHF-SKD 61 description: NHF-SKD 61 is a lime titania type electrode depositing air-hardenable weld metal whose composition is similar to alloy steel SKD-61 or AISI H 13 steel. Its weld metal has excellent toughness and crack resistibility. As its weld metal is excellent heat resistance and impact resistance, it is suitable for hard surfacing of metal dies which require the durability. But machining is impossible for its higher hardness as welded condition.
