Nihonweld N-11018-G description: N-11018-G is a basic coated, extra low hydrogen type stick electrode for the welding of high strength fine grain structural steels requiring high strength and toughness. The weld metal exhibits high strength accompanied by good sub-zero toughness values which make it deal for applications where resistance to fracture is required under impact conditions at low temperatures. Electrodes up to 3.2 mm exhibit good arc stability and are therefore ideally suited for root pass and positional welding. They produce excellent weld bead appearance, low spatter loss and easy slag removal.
