Oerlikon Fluxodur SA PS description: FLUXODUR SA PS is a folded flux cored wire suitable for SAW welding in combination with the flux OP F500. Deposit is a fully austenitic, non magnetic multi purpose alloy for joining of 12-14% Manganese steels and alos very suitable for hardfacing applications under heavy pressure combined with heavy impact (metal to metal). Deposit is self hardening from approx. 220HB in as welded condition, up to approx 48HRc max after heavy impact and pressure. Limited resistance against abrassive wear. Applications on railway crossings, curves and rails, buffer layer on crack sensitive base metal prior to hardfacing. Unlimited thickness. Deposit cannot be flame cut.
