Oerlikon Fluxocord 58 description: FLUXOCORD 58 is a seamless copper coated basic flux cored SAW wire suitable for hardfacing in combination with OERLIKON flux OP 122. It is used for hardfacing rollers, bed knives, crane wheels, forging dies, track jackwheels, etc. The weld metal has good wear resistance and is resistant to moderate shock and impact with hardness 56 - 60 HRC in the third layer. The weld metal is not-machinable (grinding only). In case of crack sensitive base metals a buffer layer is advisable with FLUXOCORD 31 (or FLUXOCORD 31HD for a higher deposit rate).
