Oerlikon Inertrod 410NiMo description: INERTROD 410NiMo is a ER 410NiMo/W 13 4 type solid TIG welding rod depositing a C-12%Cr 4%Ni 0.5%Mo weld metal. Suitable for use mainly with Ar shielding gas. INERTROD 410NiMo is used for the welding of high strength martensitic steels, providing excellent resistance to corrosion, hydrocavitation and sulphide induced stress corrosion cracking, also has good sub-zero notch toughness. INERTROD 410NiMo is containing less chromium and more nickel than INERTROD 410 to eliminate ferrite in the microstructure due to the deleterious effect on mechanical properties.
