Oerlikon Inertrod 312 description: INERTROD 312 is a W 29 9/ER 312 type solid TIG welding rod depositing a C-29Cr 9Ni weld metal. Suitable for use mainly with Ar shielding gas. INERTROD 312 is used for the welding of steels such as medium and high carbon steels and dissimilar steel combinations. INERTROD 312 has a high tolerance to dilution and is particularly suitable for buffer layers on
