Characteristic and use:
Suitable for the reestablishment surfacing and repair welding of various kinds of roller forging die and hot-working rolling die, especially for the reinforced local armored welding of primary forging die of large-scale hot forging, fore-part integral embryos die, bearing collar hot forging die, and forming roll die. Since C content is low and WV content is high, it has relatively high-temperature and wear-resistance feature.
Matters for attention:
(1) Overall preheating temperature of the die 200-560C, conduct stress-relief tempering for one time at 600-700C after welding, and cool it in the furnace slowly. And it will achieve good quality.
(2) Repair severe cracks and CMC-60 N bottoming can be applied to preventing further cracks.
(3) The sealing effect of zip-top can is good, and there is no need to dry under general situation; if it is accidentally affected with damp, the welding rod should be dried under 300C for 90 to 120 minutes at first.
(4) It’s better to apply uniform reverse welding with short arc under an even speed; reflow soldering is needed for a small part at the end.
