Characteristic and use:
It is suitable for the damage welding and armored welding of forging die, with excellent medium temperature hardness, good heat stability and operability, easy arcing, little spatter, easy deslagging, and beautiful molding, especially for the wear part of the non-striking surface of the primary forging die. As for the production of hot-forging die, it can also be welded on H13 or 5CrNiMo as the pre-protection of easily-wear parts.
Matters for attention:
(1) The sealing effect of zip-top can is good, and there is no need to dry under general situation; if it is accidentally affected with damp, the welding rod should be dried under 300C for 90 to 120 minutes at first.
(2) It’s better to apply uniform reverse welding with short arc under an even speed; reflow soldering is needed for a small part at the end.
